How returns work at Petco
- Return within 60 days of purchase: a full refund in the first 30 days, merchandise credit from day 31 to 60.
- In-store returns need proof of purchase (store receipt, confirmation email or Returns platform confirmation) and a government ID. No returns without a receipt or after 60 days.
- Returns to a store are free. For mail returns, return shipping is taken from the refund, and original shipping is not refunded.
- Refunds go to the original payment method; mail returns take about 10 days to process.
