How returns work at Old Navy
- Online orders: 30 days from delivery; store purchases: 30 days from purchase. Items must be unwashed and unworn.
- Encore Premier members get up to 45 days and All-Access cardmembers up to 60 days; returns after day 30 get a Merchandise Return Card.
- Returns must go to a store of the same brand (a Gap item cannot be returned at Old Navy). In-store purchases cannot be mailed back.
- Mail returns: Gap Inc.’s return FAQ says they are free for Encore members and cost $6 for nonmembers; in-store returns and exchanges are free.
- Proof of purchase is needed for a refund (shipping confirmation email, receipt or the original card). Gifts without a gift receipt get a merchandise certificate at the current price.
- Damaged or defective items can be returned at any time.
