Michaels free shipping: minimum and rules

Michaels free shipping rules

Michaels offers free shipping on orders above a minimum subtotal (after coupons, before tax), but its shipping policy does not state the amount; check your cart. Standard Ground takes 3-5 business days.

• Alaska and Hawaii orders carry an extra $15 delivery fee and are excluded from free shipping promotions.
• Excluded from shipping promotions: gift cards, custom invitations, custom canvas, photo center orders, oversized shipping charges, Marketplace and MakerPlace items, and same-day delivery.

Free shipping for members

Michaels Rewards: receipt lookup for returns.

Ways to save on shipping at Michaels

• Check the cart for store pickup or ship-to-store options: where a store offers them, they usually avoid the delivery fee.
• If you are only a few dollars short, compare the gap with the shipping fee shown at checkout. Adding something you would buy anyway is only worth it if it costs less than the fee.
• Look at the member program above: some members get free shipping at a lower minimum or none.
• Know the return rules first: on many sites, returning part of an order can reduce the refund if it drops you below the free shipping minimum.

Returns at Michaels

Standard window: 60 days. Exceptions, no-receipt rules and mail returns are on our Michaels return policy page.
