How returns work at T.J.Maxx
- Online orders can be returned within 40 days of the order date, free in a TJ Maxx store or by mail.
- Mail returns must reach the warehouse within 40 days. A $11.99 return shipping and handling fee is taken from the refund for each package, so combine items into one box.
- With a receipt (packing slip or shipping email) within 40 days you get your money back; after 40 days, with a gift receipt or without a receipt, you get merchandise credit.
- Returns without a receipt need a government photo ID, name, address and signature.
- Mail refunds take 10 to 14 business days after the return arrives; in-store refunds are immediate. PayPal purchases returned in store get merchandise credit.
- No exchanges on online orders. Shipping costs are not refunded.
- This policy covers online orders; tjmaxx.com purchases cannot be returned at Marshalls or other TJX stores.
