Kohl's free shipping: minimum and rules

Kohl's free shipping rules

Free standard shipping on orders of $49 or more. Below $49, standard shipping is $8.95.

• Order totals count after discounts and promotions; each delivery method is totaled separately.
• Large or heavy items can carry a surcharge, which is not refunded if you return the item.
• PO Box, APO/FPO, Alaska and Hawaii orders ship Standard Ground only.

Free shipping for members

Kohl's Card: 120-day returns instead of 90.

How Kohl's compares

16 of the 39 stores we track that publish a minimum ask for less than Kohl's does. See them all on free shipping minimums by store.

Ways to save on shipping at Kohl's

• Check the cart for store pickup or ship-to-store options: where a store offers them, they usually avoid the delivery fee.
• If you are only a few dollars short, compare the gap with the shipping fee shown at checkout. Adding something you would buy anyway is only worth it if it costs less than the fee.
• Look at the member program above: some members get free shipping at a lower minimum or none.
• Know the return rules first: on many sites, returning part of an order can reduce the refund if it drops you below the free shipping minimum.

Returns at Kohl's

Standard window: 90 days. Exceptions, no-receipt rules and mail returns are on our Kohl's return policy page.
